I was about 5 minutes into my shift this morning before i remembered my dream…my dream about going bowling with Mick Jagger that is. 

Of course i dont have to explain how most times dreams dont make sense, this one is no exception.   Someone who i didnt recognize told me they  would be back soon ,with Mick Jagger, so we could all go bowling,  and that is what he did.   Before long (i am now somehow at my grandparents house) a minivan pull in the drive with Jagger riding shotgun. 

As we are on our way to the bowling alley i catch Mick’s profile as he occasionally looks back to acknowledge me during conversation.  I have no recollection of the dialog but what i do remember is that he seemed to be drinking(or inhaling) out of a syringe.  I got the impression that this was not medicine but some kind of life extension drug. 

Anyway as i am sitting there in the back of the minivan i remember when Russ Dizdar told me about the time that he ran into Gene Simmons at a restaurant(this happened in real life)  He took the opportunity to witness to singer for KISS.   I knew that i had to tell Mick about Jesus.  I began to think about the Rolling Stones song “Saint of Me,”   i thought i could use that song to turn the conversation to the real Gospel.   warning PG-13

Next thing i know we are at the bowling alley.  Mick was in the restroom and never came out for the rest of my dream. 

Is Mick Jagger “the personification of  idolatry” beyond the reach of  God’s hand.  Most of us who know the Grace and Mercy of  Jesus would say no.   but do we really believe he can be saved?   

Lets look at Yvonne. Yvonne is  a prostitute with HIV.  watch the video 

who will plead her case, this lady looks like walking death.  Yes God will forgive her and she could go to heaven.  but is that it?  to answer simply no.

Luke 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

I dont care if you are Mick Jagger lead singer of one of the biggest rock n’ roll bands of all time or a used and abused prostitute from the streets of  Oklahoma City , you are not our of the Lord’s reach. 

My heart is for the lost.  i hope that those attending and helping with this conference will be inspired on many levels.  It’s easier for some people  to go to Haiti than to walk across the street and talk to their neighbor about eternity.

i am praying for boldness like i never have before, i hope others will join me.
